Plant-based alternative
Cafés Baqué is a family company that has been dedicated to coffee for more than 100 years. Since then, it has masterfully combined tradition and innovation. An example of this is its coffee capsules with vegetable beverages. For its retail launch, Baqué commissioned us to design packaging that would appeal to consumers who are looking for a healthy, vegetable alternative, without sacrificing the comfort, convenience and flavor offered by coffee capsules.
In the creative proposal for the packaging, in addition to the assets that the brand uses to make users recognize the compatibility of its capsules with the Nescafé Dolce Gusto system, we created a genuine graphic identity using the pack as a canvas. A “V” pattern runs across all sides of the pack and changes color for each variety to aid segmentation along with the main vegetable ingredient.
Leaders in the on-trade in the Basque Country and La Rioja, Baqué has managed to enter a new market segment and strengthen its offer in the retail channel with its coffee capsules with soy and oats.
