Art for
your palate
Don Bocarte, a leading Spanish company in gourmet canned fish, commissioned us to restyle and design their brand’s packaging.
The tagline, Art for your palate, served as a foundation on which to build the new visual identity. The goal was to create a brand able to communicate the quality, the know-how and the trust that Don Bocarte is known for.
We developed a visual packaging architecture easy to identify at the point of sales and that is common to the whole ranges: Classic, Ecological, Selection and Haute Cousine. In addition to defining the color, one of the main segmentation tools, we designed a serie of stamps where we highlight the attributes of each product in the range. The selection of special printing finishes for each range helped us to communicate the premium positioning of the brand.
Our solution for this packaging line was to bring the product closer to the art world. The style of the illustrations, worked as if they were portraits, allows us to create that high quality identity which we want to associate with the brand.
For added value, we developed different contents, on the different sides of the packaging, such as detailed information about the origin of the product or recipes. That way, the brand reinforces a more rational connection with the consumer.
